I went to the headquarters and told them satisfatory service or police intervention were the only things that would get me to leave. They tried to say all managers were at lunch. I made a big scene in front of all the people in line to pay their cable bill and I dropped the internet crime fighting hero's name. Within 1 hour I was meeting a tech who replaced all the bad cable buried in the grass. I smoked as I watched out the window and got blazed. I got results and it felt good. Then I got a good job offer and thought about it long enough to go back to work and discuss whether I am resigning or getting terminated so I can collect unemployment. Weird day, got the new job before we closed shop.... victim of the mortgage meltdown. I may take that job offer....

So wierd.....I held DirecTV's feet to the fire today too! Got something for nothing.....shit, all they had to do was press a button.......
I agree w/ you about the lack professionalism and service......large companies simply don't offer it. AND what's worse, Americans have come to accept it! I say BS.
